This also means a reduction in wires and associated operational costs. Daisy Chain Feature As an extension of this, the rack switch only requires two ports which feed into a ‘daisy chain’ across nodes. This allows for more economical switches (and wires!) Direct Board Connection The Direct Board Connection also allows better accessibility and lower temperatures in the rack.
